Booking Terms and Conditions
Apartment bookings are subject to the following terms and conditions.
Upon issue of a booking confirmation, a contract will be entered into for the holiday dates shown.
All bookings must be accompanied by a 25% deposit. The final balance is payable no later than six weeks before the commencement of the holiday. Bookings will be subject to cancellation if the payment balance is not received by the due date and the client will remain liable to pay the balance of the rent as per the cancellation charges below. Should your booking be within six weeks of departure the total holiday cost will be payable in full.
All cancellations must be immediately notified by telephone and then in writing. Cancellation of holidays are subject to the following charges:
- Not less than six weeks before arrival - loss of deposit
- Between six and four weeks - 50% of the total cost
- Between four and two weeks - 85% of the total cost
- Less than two weeks - 100% of the total cost
We strongly advise clients to arrange their own comprehensive travel insurance to cover cancellation, accidents, hospitalization etc.
The number of persons using the accommodation at any time must not exceed four and only names listed on booking form can stay. We reserve the right to terminate the hire without notice and without refund in case of a breach of this condition.
Bookings cannot be accepted from persons under eighteen years of age.
We reserve the right to refuse a booking without giving any reason.
We (the owner) cannot be held responsible for any personal injury, loss or damage sustained during your stay, however caused.
Under no circumstances shall the owner's liability to the client exceed the amount paid to the owner for the rental period.
We or our representative reserve the right to visit the apartment at any time and gain access to undertake essential maintenance or for inspection purposes.
Tenancies normally commence at 4.00pm unless otherwise agreed, and guests are required to vacate the apartment by 10.00am on the day of departure. This allows the accommodation to be thoroughly cleaned and prepared for incoming guests.
Pets or smoking anywhere on the premises will result in immediate termination of occupancy and forfeiture of all payments. This must be strictly adhered to and any damage caused by smoking will be at the expense of you.
A security deposit of £100 per week is required when paying the balance to cover the cost of any damage, breakage or theft. Any breakage or damage should be notified immediately. This deposit will be fully refunded within 10 days after your departure, providing our agent has found everything to be in order after checking the apartment. However, in the unlikely event of any serious damage we do not limit our claim to the damage deposit, and the signatory will be held responsible for all additional costs.
The owner reserves the right to make a retention from the security deposit to cover additional cleaning costs if the client leaves the property in an unacceptable condition.
The client may in no circumstance re-let or sublet the property, even free of charge.
In the event of any problem arising on arrival or during the holiday, you should immediately bring this to our or the representatives attention. This will give us the chance to ensure your holiday is not spoilt.
This apartment is privately owned and inspected after each occupancy. We expect all guests to enjoy the facilities and treat the apartment with the same respect that they would with their own house.
